MILO, NUTELLA, CHIA BROWNIE RECIPE | BLOGMAS, DAY 3

Right now? It's okay I'm about to start the manic week as it leads towards Christmas. Thinking how, what, where and when do I even start?
Here's a recipe that may help you on Christmas gathering you may have coming up.

When I know that Christmas is on its way I find myself browsing endlessly on Pinterest for any festive decor around the home, diy ideas, make-up, style and recipes. It’s such a huge outlet of talented people sharing their creations to inspire others.

The thing I want to make today is a milo, nutella brownie

You will need:
  • 4 free-range eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 cup of cocoa
  • 150g of unsalted butter
  • 3/4 cup plain flour
  • 1 cup of coconut sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of chia seeds
  • 120g of hazelnut dark chocolate
  • 125g of nutella
  • 50g of Milo
  • 50g of fibre cleanse booster

Let’s do this:

Step one: Preheat your oven to 180c and line with baking paper. I used a 20cm x 20cm tin as recommend, which worked well!

Step two: Mix in the dry ingredients such as flour, cocoa, Milo, sugar, chia seeds, fibre booster followed by the beaten eggs, butter and nutella.

Step three: Roughly chop the left over chocolate and fold through the gooey mixture!

Step four: Pour your brownie mixture into your tin, and then finally scatter the remaining hazelnuts on top before popping in the oven for around 25-30 minutes!

Step five: Once cooked, leave to cool for at least twenty minutes before cutting into pieces…trust me, this is important as you don’t want it to collapse! The brownies should last between 3-4 days, so lot’s of time to enjoy!

I hope you're all feeling festive! Merry Christmas

Much love,
Lenie
